We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Volunteer Coordinator to join our team. The Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing volunteers, as well as ensuring their engagement and satisfaction. This role is crucial in helping us fulfill our mission. Develop and implement strategies to recruit volunteers from diverse backgrounds. Conduct interviews, orientations, and background checks for new volunteers. Ensure volunteers are familiar with our organization’s mission, policies, and procedures. Provide training and ongoing support to volunteers to help them excel in their roles. Match volunteers with appropriate roles based on their skills, interests, and availability.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in volunteer management, recruitment, or coordination
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in using volunteer management software and Microsoft Office applications
